To Collectively Hike the 250 Mile
Buckeye Trail "Little Loop" in a Day

Google Map of Generalized Hike Segments and parking areas

This map is not to be used for trail navigation. It is intended to aid in locating the segment of the trail, as designated for the Little Loop Challenge, as well as locating convenient parking near the junctions of the trail segments.

When you view the map, zoom in to access the individual segments. You may also click on the View Larger Map option square in the upper right hand corner of the map.

You can click on individual segments to reveal the segment name which will consist of a one or two letter code to indicate the Buckeye Trail Section, followed by the segment number. Make note of this, because you will need to know the segment name when you go to pledge your hike on the segment(s) you choose. Remember, you are allowed and encouraged to hike multiple segments. In the segment description, you'll also be able to see the approximate segment distance and trail type(s). Segments already pledged appear shaded blue; available segments appear shaded green.

By clicking on the parking symbol (P) you'll see the name and description of the parking location. The name will correspond to the point number as seen on the Buckeye Trail Section map for that section. The number may be augmented with a plus or minus which will indicate that it is near the point on the map in the corresponding direction.

The trail may not always go through the parking location. Where this occurs the hiker symbol is used to show there the Buckeye Trail can be accessed. Notes have been added to the segment spreadsheet to help you navigate your way to the trail.
