Outside magazine has named the Ohio & Erie Canal Towpath Trail—part of the Buckeye Trail route—as one of the “10 Most Historical Trails in the U.S. That You Can Hike.”
The Towpath Trail, which winds through Cuyahoga Valley National Park and connects several Buckeye Trail communities, ranked sixth on the list, alongside trails from Hawaii, Alaska, and Montana.
