What to expect
The Belle Valley Section is a mostly hilly, rural stretch of trail connecting the Muskingum Watershed Conservancy District lands with the Appalachian Hills Wildlife Area and Jesse Owens State Park. The route is primarily on quiet dirt roads, with off-road segments through state parks, wildlife areas, and along lakeshores. Small villages along the way provide limited services for hikers.
