Pt. 18 Horner Chapel Rd at Entrance into Private Property

Additional information is being provided for camping at the Andy Jones Shelter near Point 18:

A small shelter is available along with a limited number of nearby campsites for tenting or hammocking on/near the BT in the vicinity of the shelter.

Please call to notify the owners of the property, the McKenzies, with 24 hours notice to let them know that you will be camping. If you have a follow car which needs access to the property, Soaring Eagle Retreat, to set up camp ahead of time, or if you have a ride wanting to park for pick up, those logistics should also be arranged ahead of time.
