Pt 18 – North Coast Inland Trail (NCIT) at Schultz Portage Rd 47
Pt 19 – North Coast Inland Trail at N Main St (SR 590)

In 2024 the Ohio Turnpike and Infrastructure Commission removed the mainline bridge over the North Coast Inland Trail (NCIT) and BT at milepost 83.3 on I 80/I 90, in Sandusky County. This location is between Pt 18 and 19 at Waggoner Rd. As a result of the bridge construction project, about a 1/4 mile stretch of the NCIT/BT was relocated. The actual trail relocation was completed in the fall of 2025.

The new east - west section of the trail was built adjacent to the Ohio Turnpike to Waggoner Rd. The new trail continues south along Waggoner Rd under the Ohio Turnpike and reconnects back to the original trail on the south side of the Ohio Turnpike. The entire route is a dedicated, multi-use, paved trail. It is marked well with safety features.
