Pt 9 Rado Ridge Rd (C42) at Hoot Owl Ridge Rd (T270)
Pt 10 Hoot Owl Ridge Rd (T270) at High Ridge Rd (T287)

The Hulls Shelter between Pt 9 and 10 is closed to hikers due to failing conditions of the building itself. Camping is not permitted at this time. The weather caused logs to rot, which in turn caused the roof to sag and become unstable. The wind damaged the front covering.

Do not approach the shelter or attempt to enter it. Remain on the trail. The BTA is assessing the options for the shelter, including repair or replacement.

This trail alert applies to all BTA mapping products. The camping location is being temporarily removed from the FarOut and Avenza apps and from the camping location on the Road Fork website page. Once a decision is made and the shelter is back open this alert will be removed and the information for the mapping products will be restored.
