Pt 4: Sunday Creek Rd at Entrance to Parking for Wildcat Hollow to

Pt 13: Tom Jenkins Dam Parking Area

Due to excessive rains, New Straitsville Section Pts 4 through 13 may flood causing the BT to close. The Army Core of Engineers monitors the water level of Burr Oak Lake and Tom Jenkins Dam and reports on facilities at Burr Oak State Park that are impacted by flooding. Caution: There are no acceptable or safe road walk alternatives during flooding conditions. Check current water levels prior to hiking in this area and plan your hike accordingly.
