Volunteer Opportunity
Category Path Actively Recruiting - Events / Work Parties / On Trail
When: Every Tuesday, weather permitting. No time commitment - you are welcome to join for a few hours or stay for the full day.
Where: various locations within the New Straitsville Section in Southeast Ohio.
Details: No prior trail building experience is required; this is an excellent way to learn from skilled trail builders. Motivation is the only requirement! Working with the crew on a trail building project is a unique way to discover hidden gems of Ohio, meet like-minded volunteers, and give back to Ohio’s outdoor community.
Please let us know if you will need PPE (safety glasses, gloves, hardhat) or tools so that we can make sure to have extra on hand.
Sign up on the volgistics calendar to let us know you are coming. The coordinator will reach out to let you know the details for that day's assignment.
If you are interested or have questions, reach out to newstraitsville@buckeyetrail.org.
**Note: The volgistics calendar does not indicate whether a workday has been cancelled. The event organizer will send out direct communications with participants.
