Details

In eastern Ohio, the North Country Trail is routed along roads for almost 68 miles. We are currently building a two mile new segment of trail along the Little Beaver Creek River in Elkton, Ohio near Lisbon. We have lots of work to do!

The Wampum Chapter of the NCTA meets regularly to continue construction on this project. Tasks include corridor work, new tread construction and repair, as well as bridge building. Come get involved with the Wampum Chapter, the only NCT Chapter in Ohio. Learn about this project and efforts it took to route plan and prepare for 2 new miles of trail on both private and public land. Chapter is experienced in bridge building and can support on the job training.
